Any Patrol owners here running an Amaron? Curious how it handles the summer and aux loads
So I've got a 2019 Patrol and I'm starting to notice the battery isn't quite the beast it used to be, especially if I've got the fridge plugged in during a weekend trip and the car sits overnight. A few guys in the offroad group keep pushing me toward getting an Amaron Car Battery but most of them are running smaller setups and I'm just wondering if these things have the actual grunt for a big V8 with a bunch of auxiliary stuff pulling power when the engine's off. My current battery has treated me pretty well for three summers but it's definitely fading and I'd rather swap it on my terms than end up begging for a jump in the middle of the desert. Anyone with a larger engine or a similar setup made the switch and can tell me how it handled the heat plus the extra draw? I'm not expecting miracles, just want to know if it's a solid choice or if I should stick to what I already had.
