Has anyone bought a car from those big showrooms in Al Aweer? Worth it or risky?

I've been driving past those massive used car showrooms in Al Aweer for years and always wondered what the deal is with them. Now that I'm actually in the market for a 2018-2019 Lexus IS350, I figured I'd go check a few out last weekend. Honestly it was overwhelming, row after row of shiny cars, sales guys in suits hovering around, and every car I looked at seemed to have a "just arrived" sticker on the windshield. I found one that looked perfect, low mileage, GCC specs, clean interior, but when I asked about service history the salesman just waved his hand and said they have all the records in the office and I could see them after we agreed on a price. That felt a bit backwards to me, like why can't I see them now? I walked around a bit more and noticed some of the cars had mismatched tires and a few had what looked like slightly different shades of paint between panels if you looked at them in the right light. I'm not saying every car there is bad, but I got the sense that a lot of these places polish things up to look perfect and rely on people getting caught up in the showroom atmosphere. I'm thinking if I find something there I really like, I'm going to insist on having a proper evaluation done before I even talk financing or deposits. I've been looking into getting a Pre Purchase Car Inspection done by an independent company so I have my own information instead of trusting whatever story the sales floor tells me. Has anyone here actually bought from those big lots and had a good experience, or is it better to stick with private sellers who seem more transparent?
