2018 Navigator transmission slipping and leak – anyone dealt with this?
I’m honestly at my wit’s end with my Navigator. Started noticing rough shifts between 2nd and 3rd a couple months ago, and now there’s a small puddle of red fluid under the car every morning. Took it to the dealer in Abu Dhabi and they quoted me something crazy just for diagnosis, so I’ve been looking into independent shops that actually know these transmissions. A buddy told me about fixing lincoln gearbox shifting issues and transmission leaks at a place near Mussafah industrial area, and I saw Exotic Auto Services listed online for transmission repair here. Has anyone actually used them for a Lincoln gearbox problem? I don’t want to be the guinea pig but the dealer is robbing people. Also curious if the leak is separate or causing the shifting issue – feels like the fluid level drops and then the gearbox starts acting confused. Any advice before I drop serious money would be amazing.
